Here’s a little about me

tldr version:

Hi, I'm Rebecca, an artist, surface pattern designer and photographer. Nature inspires me to create dynamic and original artwork for people who are quirky and whimsical - just like me. My mission is to bring joy and color to peoples homes. There's extra joy in knowing that I donate a portion of all sales to charities that focus on ocean conservation and animal rescue.

I am Artist and Surface Pattern Designer who recently (re)discovered her zeal for art and design. I had worked in the corporate environment for too many years and after getting laid off during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic found my passion in creative and artistic endeavors. Although I have always been creative expressing this side of myself through poetry and photography, I now know that creating and sharing art is what I will do the rest of my life. I often wonder why it took me so long but I know that sometimes you find things when you need them.

I love walking through botanical gardens, neighborhoods and even parking lots finding beautiful flowers to photograph and other natural elements to use in my floral collages. The floral collages are made from photos of flowers and other botanical elements I have personally photographed.

I plan to donate a percentage of proceeds from any art sells to animal rescue organizations including (but not limited to) sanctuaries, pet/farm animal rescues and organizations which are dedicated to protecting the oceans.  Let me know if you are interested in licensing or collaborations so that we can help the world together.
